If you are bothered, it will give you the courage and strength to do what you have to do to help change the world. And if you actually do change the world, it will inspire others to do what you did. So it's not just what the immediate effects of what you do, it’s also the things that happen because of what you did. If you are not bothered, or just choose to ignore the fact that there are so many wrong things in the world, you won’t have a reason to change the world, when you could have fed the hungry, resolve abuse, stopped animal cruelty, found a cure for a disease, or something else that’s amazing.
